Thanks. They follow my hand around when I clean my tank. Very cool fish. They dug a ditch in my substrate in one corner and sleep there.

Hi @r0ckf1re, like your new system. I can see a lot of love and work went into it.

I am however a bit concerned about your sandsifter starfish...
Do you still have it? It needs "dirty" sand to obtain food, and with you mentioning that you are constantly cleaning the substrate, I am afraid that it may slowly starve to death? Especially in such a new system.

Thanks. Star fish is still around. Doing fine. I don't vacuum my sand, I remove detritus that's visible and move the sand around every two weeks or so. I'll keep and eye on it though.

Took the plunge and purchased some ATI bulbs.
Two blue plus, one coral plus and one actinic. Also bought some super shrimp, frozen formula one and some frozen invertebrate food.
