Practical growing of phytoplankton

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but does anyone know where I can get this container from? Plastics for Africa don't stock them anymore ( at least in Somerset West that is ) and mambos have the same thing but the plastic is tinted blue and I'm concerned this will inhibit the light penetration.

Please help.

Also interested to know... managed to find one 20l and one 10l see-through one about 3 years ago and now they all just blue.

Thanks @Awvince here's a photo of the one they have on their site.. I'll double check again locally because I actually noticed that the ones used above are actally not totally clear they just less blue and I think I have seen this type locally and if not I'll give them a call ;).

I agree @MistaOrange because I saw a hobbyist using purified water containers but they were blue so that got me thinking if it is so difficult to get something as simple as a container then I rather use those but just the clear versions and add a tap to them!

I will first see what I I can get.. @BennieV

westpac definately sell the clear ones....i bought one not so long ago. if i remember they wer eabout 50 bucks

But in all honesty rather use a glass container it's safer & more pure for letting light in for photosynthesis of the phyto. Look for the 7L consol bottles they'll work awesome & much better than plastic IMO
Any idea what these look like? Im around the corner from consol so can go check them out.

Glass is better than plastic so GREAT idea, thanks!!
