NightWolf's TL550

Agree with upgrade comments so far. Just remember with open top, evaporation increases alot so an ATU would be another add on. Go for MP10 as said takes very little space and looks super neat. Those pharos LED units also looks cool and perfect for a TL550 and also controllable. Or you can always DIY if you wanna keep the hood. Just my 2c

Ok... got my first Tunze 6055 today and it is awsome!! Waiting on second one and controller... ;)

Also got a Tunze Doc 9004 skimmer and it fits perfectly!!

Waiting an my LED's also and will start my diy on my hood!! ;)

Exciting times... going to get my cuc next week!!
 
Imo ... Buying the tunze 9004 is same as puttn bigger pump on standard skimmer,still inefficient .... Lotsa guys tried the skimmers that fits the chamber and none produces skimmate like an OTP pump BH1000 skimmer ....imo just wayyyy more efficient and can be used even with lid on tank...

But in end of day it still boild down to wat you going to keep in the tank ...
