I wanted to put the skimmer in the sump since I started and the next step was the Reef Octo TS1, as I have limited space there. Still have the Red Sea skimmer though, I got it with the tank originally.

1st q = that is a christmas tree (nocturnal from what I see in the tank)
2nd q = its a paly. my tank is aptaisia free

that alos looks like the beginnings of some macro algae growing out, with the stocking of fish you have it will do realy well if you let it get going, often turns a deep pretty red.
I will chat about photography tomorrow for you, i just wanted to catch up on your thread first, but can you take a recent pic with all the LED's on and with the white substrate for me, a fta to start with perhaps?

Len, not feeding anything in particular. The tree seems to be nocturnal though, comes out twice a day.

Doing well, what type of coral is the white softy?
It's a 3000l/hr. I will probably look to upgrade it in the near future.
3rd pic is badly bleached and has cyano on its tips, it needs more flow

I have since DIY'ed my own Bridgelux 24 x Led unit (12 white + 12 actinic).
I only need to clean up the wires, which I should get to tomorrow.

Figured it's update time. I've been putting in quite a few frags since my last update plus a couple of fish.
My fish list currently stands at this:
2 x chromis
clarki clown
bicolor blenny
dragonet blenny
lawnmower blenny
six line wrasse
yellow tang
large bristle starfish
corals, well it's easier to just show you:
Everything seems to be growing quite well and all the tank mates are happy.
