What a stunner of a cube!!

Well done

Can you give us a run down of your setup? And maintance routine?
Or is it a state secret?

And all the specs of your equipment aswell pls.:p

Cool and add some pics of your engin room ect :p

ok ok ... :) running around:

Engine room - very small about the size of four one foot tanks it has it's own DB board too:

First compartment: Tons (as much as I can fit LR, Brightwell NitratR, Carbon sock, Phosphate Sock. Air Pump under the LR - Took some advise from @ADVdiver to move the air pump from the return chamber to the first chamber under the LR.

Second compartment: Bubble magnus skimmer 5 days of the week dry skim, 2 days of the week wet skim. Two heaters x1 300w and x50w - The 300w is to make big temp changes if need be i.e. if the water drops the second 50w is to keep the water at the current temp

Third compartment: Return pump and tons more live rock.

Equipment sitting in my study still need to fit:
1. Chiller sitting outside HCA- 500 1500l chiller
2. Brand new Tunze return with saftey connector with battery backup from @Anita still need to fit. About x2 the current Haliea I have 6530 and about half the size. Hoping its going to be like it says "silent".
3. From @maxisoft a carbon reactor which I still need to fit

Still waiting on: @ADVdiver to give me some advise on putting sump outside (covered etc).

Maintainance: Well:
Every day: I check temp and PH. Some reason evaporation is massive lose about 10l a day so top up with RO (from my RO unit @the waterboy). At night I clean the glass not to disturbe the fish etc.
Every week:
1. Nitrate
2. Nitrite
3. Phosphates
4. Amonia
5. Calcium
6. MG
7.kdh or dkh (I am always get that wrong).

Tank is 200l I do a 50l water change every week or every other week.

Dosing:

Every day: Nothing
Every "other day": Brightwell color and trace elements
Every weekend: Special Blend and Prodibia Startup (not finished my big pack yet so still using that)

Feeding:
Every day: Morning flakes
If I am home during the day: Lunch time flakes
Evening: Mix some vitamins with half a block of mysis and half a block of pure reef mix or super shrimp.

Corals:
Every second day: I stop all the pumps including skimmer. Wait 10mins for water to settle target feed the Gorgonia mixture of Reef Pearls and Cyclo-peeze. Also feed the Clams, hammer, froggie and zoas with that mix.
Twice a week: Feed all my brains and the bubble use one and half bits of lance fish, bubble munches and so do the brains.

Fish in tank:
x1 Purple Tang - Eats anything
x5 Chromis - Eats anything and to much
x1 Clown - Tries to fight for food and thinks he is a Chromis even schools with them
x1 Lawn Mower blenny - Fat as hell always munching
x1 Scooter - At LFS saw him eat pellets but since in my tank doesnt want to touch it eating off rocks
x2 Cleaner shrimp - Eating out of the brains when I feed them URG
x1 Fire shrimp - Eats anything
x4 Turbo Snails - algae - not much in tank
x1 Mexian Snail - algae - not much in tank
x1 Tux Urchin - algae and the little coraline I have he munches it
x1 Six line wrasse - Have no idea what he eats but he is nice and fat

Problems I still have:
Nitrates flux between 10ppm and 25ppm since I added the Brightwell NitratR seems to be stable at 10ppm.

To much evaporation and don't trust topups.

Tank is becoming to small ;)

Hope that gives you an idea.

How is that bubble behaving, us it attacking ant stuff around it?

What is the idea/purpose behind the air-pump?

Tank looks great, nice setup!

Thank you :) the air pump Was due to some research I did which specifically aimed at helping keeping cyano down also everything I have read and all article stated it's a good addition. Since I added it I noticed a much happier tank to be honest......

The bubble is a night monster. I keep it away from other corals as at night I see it extending it's tentacles all over the place. It will devour a lance fish in two hours .....

Which Bubble Magus do you have? I have the NAC3 and just wondering how deep yours is sitting and what number you have it on.

Hmmm I have no idea but I am sure it's one of the smallest ones equivalent to a TS1. Deep it's is sitting around half way up the main chamber. Setting not sure I play it by eye sight.... I check it every day ;)

It's most likely the NAC3 or NAC3+ then, pretty much the same rating as a TS1.

I also check mine every day but am struggling to get it 100%, it's either too wet or too dry. Would you mind measuring how deep it is so I can compare?

Ah the to Wet Problem :) I had that too :) so a few things to note:

1.Dry - The bubbles must come to about where the rubber seal is for the cup on the main body. By bubbles I mean the head of the bubbles - you adjust that with the blue rod...

2. Medium (when feeding it over flows) - The bubbles must come to about 1 and 1/2 inches into the main area (the middle plastic tunnel) of the cup. That way when feeding it will over flow

3. Wet - Well the bubbles anywhere above 1 1/2 inches

Pretty fine tuning you need to do. Watch out (I am about to ask on the forum now) for the fact that this skimmer (not sure if others do) does not compensate for water evaporation. SO.... If you get your water perfect and a day later you lose 2 to 5l of water to evaporation you will notice now the skimmer "bubble line" (where the bubble come up to) will be way below the actual recommended part.

Also on the flip side say you top up and you top up a little to much it will over flow and fill your bottle you have attached to the over flow pump. I often do that ...... only to come home to find Skimmate all over the floor :) now I have the skimmer bottle in a 1ft tank :)

Let me know if you need any more help.
