Mekaeel's New SPS Reef tank

Didn someone say he took up fishing or something?

who me???? No went back to reptiles but I have been missing the reef life so I am back and back for good..........
 
Howzit going guys. Yip it's been a while. The tank was doing very well up to about four months when I was away overseas. I had a auto top up failure and by the time my dad got to it (I suspect two days later), it was totally wiped out. My guess is, the return pump failed and burnt out and the tank over heated. Was a terrible loss as I had some of the livestock for +-8 years.

I am planning on selling most of the equipment and going for a nano. Still in the plotting and planning phase though. I really want to take my time with this and plan something small yet powerful to keep a high sps load.
Withdrawals have kicked settled in lol.
 
Lots of new methods and goodies that have made reefing a lot easier. But you will quickly get back into it. Sorry to hear about your wipeout. Anyways lots to update us with in your new tank. Rules have not changed so we expect loads of PIC's :)

I've noticed that Keith. Too many new methods and toys in the time I was away. Lots of catching up to do.

Yeah Sean. Need to fish. My boat has been parked off for the last 3 months. Havent been out.
 
Must be something they've put in this Durban water that all us old "blast from the past" folks are coming out of the woodwork?
