I was having a chat with Dropzone via pm yesterday where he was saying things like 'its blue skies here, piping hot with cold beer and braai on the go etc blaaa blaaa' to which i replied that i would slip out and take a few pics as the snow was looking pretty.

anyway i early yesterday morning there was a lovely low layer of mist off the frozen lake so i went down to the old bridge as the sun was rising and starting to burn the mists off and instead of just mailing them to him i thought id post them here for you guys to ahve an idea of the surrounds i live in.

u can keep your heat at the mo when we have snow like this, although please do send me some cold cheep beers:)

as much as im loving the hot weather, scantily clad ladies and cheap beer, i must admit that the snow does look like fun.
Great pics too.

looking awesome, now for a tour of your home and farm..........:whistling:

lol johan ill sort that out for u if u like;)

i actually blasted away with camera again today as its cold minus 20 atm and dropping:( but we had great full sun and new snow, so i got my border collie to pose for me a bit, ill try load some of those pics too

I was training my border collie to 'drive away' ie run out and away from me, stop, lie and then come back at full speed. We have a nice uphill on the farm leading to the forests so that i can send him out of sight and then call him back. For fun i got Rosie my briard (french herding dog....the big black one) to race him. Even with a substancial head start 'Forest '(thats the bordercollie in pics) whips her but some fun pics from today...

the one set of sheds with the main heating system at the bottom going flat out.....4000l of water heated to 80 degrees keeps the house toasty inside:)
