Epoxy will work aswell as Tangit PVC glue.Worked on my DNW 300 when the inlet connection broke off.
How long you been skimming for, and is there no bioload in your tank ?
The skimmer usually takes about 3-4 days to break in and then start foaming.
Keep the water level half way up the neck.
I have increased the water level, its looking a lot better now. Some good foam.
Since there is no bioload, i doubt we will be able to get a thick dark skimmate, but lets see how it progresses.
Once your tank is stocked well, you will get decent (dark brown) skimmate.I have increased the water level, its looking a lot better now. Some good foam.

Rather strange Warr, ive got a TS1 in a container with a few pieces of LR and im surprised with the colour of the skimmate i got, its dark brown.
Maybe your skimmer is'nt skimming dark because your water level is too high up the neck, therefore you are skimming wet and causing light skimmate.
Appologies, i dont understand what you mean?Doesn't mater here i skum, it is green

If it is skimming green He should also have a algae problem. A correctly setup skimmer will produce brown skimmate, even at a low bio load, just less then.
For not understanding what you meant.my appologies, not sure what you sorry for ???
