Think I found the leak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the Deltec AP851 skimmer the water level prior to the air being turned on sits just below the bayonet fitting for the cup. When water supply pump is switched off to change the cup I left the recirculating pump on.

The water level drops below the cup and you can take it off, what I didn't notice before is that water then escapes via the venturi line, for some strange reason.

Nevermind ...... I have heightened the factory fitted pipe and it no longer leaks.

Fingers crossed thats the cause........ The watch continues

Yeah that sounds like it could be the problem Geordie. I have the same problem with my skimmers.
