Yes they are AI Sols. But there are another 6 behind. So that tank had 12.

Keith, i have the same coral for about a year now and it has more than doubled in size, quite a hardy coral too. Mine is mid to upper section in tank and flow is quite strong over it. It is a beautiful coral.

Now that I have had a look to the 2 (Mine and the one you posted), the flesh etc looks similar but the color not. Is it the same coral @Nemos Janitor

Yours is an echinophyllia coral the other under black tang is mycedium coral

De Jongs realy are a fantastic group, one if the best fish holding facilities in Europe from reputation and are great to deal with. Seeing them have a tank like this at the expo must have been a delight in person.

Yes people often lump them all together and call them all chalice corals but this does lead to confusion they all belong to the Family: Mussidae

Yes there is a debate between Mussidae and Pectiniidae. Perhaps why most corals are easily misidentified by the LFS and hobbyist. Very difficult to distinguish amongst most imports. All i know is that the meaty ones are Mussidae and the more stony ones Pectiniidae. Always very confusing.
