i dig your board man! i have made up my mind i have stoped smoking:) and i am going to focus on my surfing again and try and keep fit.i realy need to i havent been surfing as much as i used to.

thanks again les:)

wow thats all comming together really well:)

clinton we see all the work les has put in, what about a few pics of the stand? what height are you building it out of and what preps are you putting to it?

such a huge change from the beginning pics, well done les:)

oh and clint...put that smoke down!

ha ha thanks crispin i have put it down.its hard but im doing it! i will post piks of the stand when its finished and painted.its a old stand made of angle iron that was lying outside at work.so we cut it to size and put a brace in the bottom.its faarkin heavy man but its solid.

still havto do the woodwork for the stand.im thinking of building a half moon cabinet that slides over the stand.it will hide the stand and if i need more space to work i can just slide it out.still goto make up my mind with what to do there.

les has done a hell of alot and im realy thankful.i owe you one bud;)

cheers:yeahdude:

great job leslie:thumbup:

Clinton your tank is going to look real good when its filled up(nice size tank too);)

no for the stand pics:p

ha ha thanks crispin i have put it down.its hard but im doing it! ;)

Good man, it's all in the mind. Just ask yourself: Who is the boss? Me or the smokes?
And I know all about it. I smoked for 15 years and went cold turkey one time. At 18:00 on the 29th of April it will be my aniversary. 1 Year of non-smoking ;)

Good luck man - you can do it :)

wow congrats tobes thats awesome.i must say its going better than i thought it would.you right man its all in the mind and im the boss not the smokes:yeahdude:
thanks for your support tobes it defenitly helps:thumbup:

thanks lanzo its coming along nicely.les came up with a good idea of building a second overflow in the other corner.that means more water to the skimmer and better water quality.also if i want to upgrade to a bigger return pump in the future i can do so.

the stand is 1550x760x800-high its abit bigger than the tank and will have more space to work with.in there will be a 3ft sump with dsb, reeftek ts2 skimmer and a hailea hx6530 return pump.still looking for a jager 300w heater.

will post piks of the stand soon as its done.promise:)

i have been a little worried about only having 1 x 26mm hole as an outlet so after it eating at me for the duration of this project i decided to talk clinton into drilling another hole and making a second overflow box on the opposite side of the tank.. at least then as clintons knowledge growns he can add a bigger pump as the return..

id hate to build something and have to redo it.. and at least the tank will be nice and uniform and surface skim from bothe sides

shot les thats awesome man.when you got a gap sms me the sizes of the perspex for the overflow box if you can.its coming together nicely now man.will be getting the sump from justin soon.

thanks mekaeel.leslies work is amazing man wish you guys could have seen that tank when i first saw it.you would never say its the same tank.

heres where we are at the moment. progress has been slow but then again so has finance and time..
