New born fry pics. Fry are about 10 hours old.
And you want to take a break, now where the real work starts!
Quite amazing how these small horses fit into the small pouch.
Nature is incredible.
Brenda, are you cold bank the brines?
Hey! Pimps make a LOT of money, drive fancy cars, live in fancy houses, and wear expensive jewelry! I can see myself doing those sort of things....
Brenda the jewelry your wear is pimp worthy. You have bigger rocks on your fingers than anyone I have met. The car you drive is a little more conservative but still up to par, as far as the house you have taken over my 4000 square foot house for your storage when you moved out of your "princess" facility to care for grandma and lord knows the reward for caring for grandma will be a place in heaven.

Hey Glen have you seriously finished building a kreisel tank?hi brenda, please could you post pics of your kreisels and the pumps? i have just finished building my first in tank kreisel based on larger versions i have seen locally and i would love to see yours to see if i can learn more! thanks!
I'm intersted to see your kreisel because I need to build one for my cleaner shrimp because both of them have green bellies & would like them to release their fry in the kreisel instead of becoming fish food. WoW Brenda that kreisel looks so busy, is it big enough for all the lil ponies?
As for brine grow out systems I haven't tried that yet, what goes into making such a system?
Keep me posted please as I would like to try this for extra nutrition for the other fish that are not eating bbs. Will look into this as well kAs far as the brine grow out, I'm going to place some pools outside to grow them out. I don't know if this will work or not. We'll see.

Yes, the kreisel is a little busy. If I were keeping them they would have been divided into two kreisels. The fry left a few hours ago.I'm feeling like a surrogate mother at the moment.

Mmmmm air pump? How is the flow with the air pump? ok what I've got is a small 3w water pump which I was going to use on a very slow flow(sounds like a hippieI will try to get some more pictures of it tonight. The only pump that is used to keep water moving in the kreisel is an air pump. The kreisel is placed inside another tank where I have a HOB filter in place.

) using a rain bar type of McGyver sitting opposite the out flow window.except for the air pump that is exactly what I'm doing where the pump is on the outside of the kreisel. ok I'll post some pics but 1st I've got to take my son to the airport to go home.If you scroll up to my pictures you will see a blue air line tube. There is a hole drilled into the curved side of the bowl (midpoint or a little higher works best). The airline tube is placed in that hole. Air goes in, air rises, and creates a circular motion. The more you increase the bubble rate, the faster things spin. Then there are no pumps for the fry to get caught in. All pumps are kept outside of the kreisel.

this is what I busy with but I'm being 2 minded on this one & maybe want to make it bigger.
