Pity, not thousands.how many of the 10 000 is active still on the forum?![]()
Pity a lot of guys just camp out in the for sale section, and they never post anything in the rest of the forum, nor post anything about their own tank. And some guys do not have anything to hide, beauty of tanks that we randomly stumble upon on Facebook. Guys that are members for years here. Come on guys, feel free to share.
We are looking at ways, even to get well known guys that's long gone but still have tanks chatting again. Some guys did pack up and left this hobby, nothing to gain for themselves browsing the forum although the fast knowledge they all collectively have is now out of the reach of all the new guys.Do you Guys Engage in Conversation with these guys.
Very true and being a member of a few totally different groups I can tell you it's exactly the same on all the other groupsOne major issue imvho that causes frustration, are (new) members who post before doing their research. The number of these posters asking for help, where there are multiple posts containing the answers to their dilemmas, becomes repetitive, and quite rightly would upset the members who had answered the questions asked previously.

But we must remember that for a newbe his situation is totally unique in his opinion. ..most of the times they do a lot of reading up but something small and actually totally irrelevant is not the same as in his research and due to his inexperience he is uncertain and then still asks
Unfortunately this is where a friendly answer will keep him on the forum or vice versa .

There's no faster way to kill a site than to have a few members always willing to pick a fight or to just be plain rude
My hats of to the moderators here
