I bought new live rock a week ago and introduced it into the tank. I went up to my tank this evening and noticed this worm/slug on my live rock that was moving faster than my turbo snail. I did not know what it was. Couldnt get a picture because it moved into a rock. It had a hairy body that almost looks like it was connected to a grey like head. It moved like a slug? Everywhere it goes I have noticed it seems to have laid tiny white round eggs. Has anyone experienced this in their aquarium and if so could you give me any info so I know whether to take action to remove it or not.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure hey...
Are you refering to my "Guru Status"..:p...:005:...

I'm honestly not sure what it is...sounds like it could be a CHITON..or a STOMATELLA VARIA...but I could be TOTALLY wrong..(as I've never had them and don't know their "behaviour"..)..... "Google Guru" is exactly what it says....if you show me what it looks like....I'll find it..... Best I can do at the moment is give some Site's with "common hitchhikers" and "Snails/Slugs" and maybe you can spot it...if not...even a blurry pic is better than non...:p..;)

Due to the description of slug and the eggs, i would suggest a Stomatella snail.

But without more information, link length, overall shape, did it had hair like things... etc.
It is difficult to make an identification.
