Alas Andreas that is one thing you have to do, but while you are cleaning the cup the water in the chamber instead of flowing all aver the place it automatically flushes the air hoses of any calium biuld up and then automatically resets itself almost immediatley to continue skimming again. No fus no bother. In my particular one although one of the first models I have added the fliter at the outlet which also acts as a mechanical filter and boy this works. All the new DOC 9400 series will have this enhancement.

DOC 9410 available mid December rated for 1000l aquarium height 415mm
DOC 9420 rated for 2000 l aquarium height 580 mm
Doc 9440 rated for 4000 l aquarium height 580 mm
DOC 9460 rated for 6000 l aquarium only 700 mm high 7litre cup volume
DOC 9480 rated for 8000 l aquarium only 700 mm high 7litre cup volume
As from December all 9400 series will be powerd by a complete new energy saver hydrofoamer design as the motor block is encapsulated in PU casting resin (better cooling ) & protective thermostat.
The new design hydrofoamers are called Hydrofoamer Silence so the skimmers run in absolute silence as the name implies.

Seems it missed my BD.I have been promised some in my January consignment, lets see what happens, as the Stream 2 6305 is also behind, production. So the two customers who were lucky enough to get them good luck.
