Quick Q.

Are those "angle irons" holding the light unit fixed to something in any way, or are they just lying loosely on the top with the light holding it in place?

If so, it is a disaster looking to happen, literally throwing money in the water!

Thanks :p ..... Well that's actually angle alluminium to avoid rust and each rod is siliconed to the tank so as stable as can be ..... I don't think I will be so careless with a light of that value :lol:
 
Just checking :), and yes, thought it was alluminium, hence the quotes ;)

i took it home and colourcoded it to my tank

the height morne has worked out just perfect as it gives even spread thruout the tank.well dun buddy,the DIY guy :lol:.... made of alluminium so no rust issues and coated in primer then heat resistent black so it wont peel....:thumbup:
