so far good input,

its been said to be an expensive route to go, but i think if you took the cost of any other system you would find the zeo products to be extreemly concentrated in comparision.. and actually work out cheaper..

i have been lurking on zeovit.com for a few years now and ther systems are amazing, immaculatley clean, bright and colourful..

if you consider that you would spend about an hour at least admiring your system per day you could easily take 10 min to administer the relevant additives and bacteria..

are we lazy as reefers? sometimes yes, and i think the commitment to the system is the main issue moreso than actually administering the dose daily..

at the end of the day its the effort we put into our systems that will deliver the rewards...

So there will be significant differences between the ZeoBak and BioDigest/Stability?

Guess i'm going back to the lfs to buy all the proper components sometime soon, the financial manager will just love it :eek:
 
give @Submariner a call, he will sort you out, its way more affordable then you think,
what your total water volume? remember to account for rocks etc, then i will look at my dosing calc to show you the affodability

Total water volume before taking rock, substrate etc. into consideration is 200L.

Can you PM me the prices of the ZeoBAK, ZeoFood and ZeoStart3? TSR is just up the road from me, I just couldn't find it last week Saturday when I went to look :(
 
the start kit will last you over 5months and longer on other additives
 
the zeoliths need to be changed every 6-8 weeks
 
I think the best part is that the zeo stuff actually does what it claims :) ..

That and every problem or crash solution is a few drops away :)

But all is dependant on the system as a whole

So i bit the bullet and bought the rest of the components, will start the "proper" dosing regime this evening.

From what I can tell doing less more frequently is probably the best bet with this methodology.

@dallasg do you think the following amounts are correct for my size system (200L net volume, I guess about 170L when i take LR etc into account)

Zeobac - 2 drops daily (one evening, one morning)
Zeofood - 2 drops daily (one evening, one morning)
Zeostart - 0.5ml daily (0.25 evening, 0.25 morning)

I plan on running like this for the first two weeks and then move from daily to every second day.

Sound ok?

Yes this seems like a difficult and time consuming section, but it take about 10min in the morning and 10min at night... and for those worried about missing a day etc one can miss a few days provided the system methods as a whole are followed

Just another question :)

Now that I am dosing the proper elements is there any benefit using my Biodigest until it is finished?
