Hi Bruce, a quick weather report from the Motherland - heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp we're being blown away, storms all over the country, wind, freezing rain, some more wind, things are falling over, it's Armabloodygeddon i tell yer:(
Hi Wee-Man
No wind, no rain [almost like the song] here, just dam hot got the fans going etc. Sounds bad your way:( , will check the telly to see the damages. Hang tight sure it will be over soon.
Are there damages close to you and are you in a safe area?

Hey Wee-Man
Whats up?

Sorry bud, the wind has eased, there is bits of tree everywhere but nothing nasty happened, i nearly lost a roof on a shed and the fence looks rather drunk now (4x4 oak fence posts too!!
But all things considered, nothing to bad, a pal lost his caravan on the south coast, al ong with many others.
Nothing like 1987 though:)

Another one I cant seem to find the threaded piece for the duroso at any plumbing store in Pretoria any one can guide me where to find the item. This is the piece with the nut and seal between the panes.

Man oh man Bruce those are looking good:thumbup::thumbup:

Hoping they darken a bit, busy writing a DIY for WIKI, as Ive read and researched this is a long process.

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Dontworry about darkening, once they have coraline, etc etc etc over them you wont even notice

An irrigation place would be the best, called a bulkhead, or tank connector

I will have a look at Rorys thread to see there might be something in there

don't know, i work on rule of lanzo: if it looks enough it's enough:)

if you are running a dsb then the most of the filtration is going to happen in the dsb.
but like you already now that LR is a filter on its own too, so the more the better.
