My boyu tl550 is running on 2 skimmers: Stock boyu skimmer and a Macro Aqua hang on skimmer Rated 300l
Lighting: 2 x Beamswork 18w Led units
Flow: 1 x Hydor koralia evo 2800

Fish list:
2 x Clowns
3 x yellow tail damsels
1 x Blue Green Chromis
1 x Bi Colour Blenny
1 x Wheelers Shrimp Goby
1 x Fire Shrimp
1 x Tuxedo Urchin

i have the same tank, also open top, i dont keep any LS that like to jump, but if you want to, can use some sort of net or maybe eggcrate to cover the top, wont look too nice but will prevent things getting out
 
Hey guys I have a Hydor koralia evo 2800 flow pump but want to add another pump or get a better pump as I want to run sps.. Don't like the look and sound of the Mp10 so what would u guys suggest??

the look and space saving ability is what attracts most customers,as for the sound, ive heard many complain but till today i still havent heard a peep from my pump,all you need to do on initial setup is line up correctly and its as silent as a mouse

imo hydors are good but quite an eyesore in a boyu as already you sitting with minimal space and 2 pumps will take a crap load of space in your tank,and the mp10 works well on its own,strong enuf and you dnt even see it in the tank. checkout @Mc and @mornewil boyus

Thanks @bollie, I will have a look at the MP10 maby only in the future as they have a hefty price on them..

hitup our CT lfs @Perky pets superstore they great with prices and couriers aswell, i mean it seams our prices in CT is wayyy less dan you guys

but in the meantime,if you looking for temp measures ,sun sun does the trick and is inexpensive,but also depending on the corallia you have if setup and positioned correctly ,you may get away with one pump only as most of us boyu users do
