When you mention good husbandry can you explain in laymen terms what this exactly entails, andwhat a good article have picked up good tips thanks @dallasg

To me good husbandry are the small things we overlook' clean substrate, clean skimmer, clean light unit reflectors or lenses etc.

These small things can keep the balance in your favour
 
Good Husbandry. The missing ingredient when you can't figure out what's going wrong in your tank.
Sometimes doing the basics is also the hardest work.

......and just as important as the rest of the "known" duties
