i hear you dude, i'm so broke after all this it looks like the only furniture in my place will be the tank

it's pretty heavy hey, i had to get someone to help me carry it...

eish not much progress, adriaan is in great demand, getting he's time is almost impossible, he's coming this saturday to do the sump

i also got this to mount the light unit with, it's the first time i'm using it so i hope it'll work:

small update... sump build...

hey guys, small update, i managed to get adriaan and edwin for a day and they got quite a lot done... i never realized just how much work this whole thing actually was...

this is the coolest piece of plumbing equipment ever! if we short a piece of plumbing, adriaan just adapts another piece to do the job or to make it fit

water change drain...

i plumbed in this contraption into the intake section of the CLS, so i can just plug in my garden hosepipe and open the tap to drain water when doing water changes

it drains way to slow though just using gravity... i tried closing the BV on the CLS pump return but it makes no difference, these MD70 pumps don't want to suck water in (if anybody knows what i mean?)

i'm going to plumb this into the return section of the CLS, should be fine then but what a waste of PCV fittings! eish

filling with FW for the 1'st time

gonna leave it like this for a couple of days to see if the plumbing so far has any leaks
