Hi a friend saw a Spanish Dancer being sold. My question is what is the opinion of the members about the marketing of invertebrates which have no chance of survival as they are specialised feeders.
If nobody bought them there would be no reason for them to be targeted for sale?

ive kept a few that i caught locally but what i found is they always get stuck in a powerhead and mess everything up

I think it's totally unethical of a petshop to import and sell ANY animal, knowing that it won't survive in captivity. IMHO such shops should be avoided by all concientious aquarists.

I agree 100%

I totally agree with the past two posts, bear in miind that some orders/boxes get filled with animals that weren`t requested and just get used as fillers but i do think that sometimes they get ordered deliberately and that is very destructive for this hobby.
