Hi there guys and gals..
Some of you might remember me from awhile back, as i quite the hobby a few months ago and just couldnt stay away..
I had an amazing 600l starfire display tank with all the bells and whistles.. I was given a rock of gsp as a gift. This rocked seemed to have had some crappy diseases in i got whitespot, brook and velvet all in one go i lost a few fish and then tried spots and velvets from prodibio it seemed to work but then all my fish just stopped eating after using it..
At the end of the day i lost 10k worth of fish and it felt terrible. So i decided screw it and sold everything including all my equipment(big mistake)...
I have the last while been starting over and cant wait for this system to start it will mainly be a sps system as corals are much easier than fish for me lol..
Tank is a 90x90x35 shallow starfire tank built by The Serious Reefer, stand is 75 high so its a leke top down view and easy to work in...
Light is a vertex illumina sr360 300mm which i think is a massive overkill as it can depths of 1.5m so will run it on 2% lol..
In the past i have ran np pellets and they worked really well and as i do not like the Bio Cubes i have decided to go the Zeo route as it will be a sps tank..
I got a vertex zeo reactor and a bunch of zeo products...
I am still to aquire the rest of my equipment and hope to be filling up this weekend and starting up soon as i cant wait no longer..
This tank will also have a very low fish load
2x platinum clowns
1x small tang for algae control
And maybe 2 other small fish
And all fish will be qaurintined and all corals dipped to prevent any bad luck..
Carlos
