My new tank project

ML, am not too sure as it is just a pic I found, on this site, plus plenty others. Pretty awesome I am sure you'll agree. Not bad for T5's only?
Great look to the tank.

warren i can see that you have chosen a very professional look to achieve in your system, it is achievable with the correct maintenence routine as mentioned.

im almost converted to T5 after seeing those and many tanks on Rc over the last few days sporting excellent success with them so im going ahead with a T5 lightig unit build and will compare for myself.

awsome. some real jaw droppers you have chosen as examples there.

thanks Riyaad and Leslie. These are great tanks.Leslie, this is what has given me an idea that T5's can work, but am more confused now than ever between the 2. Lighting, skimmer, pumps and tank are my focus first and then once I have quality parts, I must follow it up with quality maintenance. Will post more pics tomorrow that will really impress you.

cool looking forward to it, i have been looking at alot of tanks on RC latley and i have been checking out the build sections of the thread, im also trying to see what i need in terms of equipment for what level of reefkeeping i want to achieve, T5 is more common than youd think, ironically there are a number of LED lit tanks all showing exceptional growth in coral and i have been investigating this aspect aswell.

THanks Leslie, I agree. I will see how it goes and let you know what I decide. Post some results of you decision and route you take and we can measure the success.

Here's some more pics of tanks I like and that are an inspiration.

WOW honda I see you love those SPS corals don't you. I love them too but don't have the money to spend on them :(

MORNE

Some ideas of rock structures I saw and liked. Does anyone know of a reefsafe bonding material I can use to stick some individual pieces together like this.
If so please let me know.
I want to try also cover the joins with sand/aragonite to hide it.
Any thoughts?

You could use some Super Glue or two part bonding material.I really dont know the name of this stuff but I have some

Thanks ML, if you get the name please let me know. I am going to try look at the LFS and see what they have; but am sure it's going to be expensive.
Want to see if a builder warehouse type of place might have something
