My halide nano reef

agreed warr, that does seem a little light of colour. Careful with him Max, monitor and see how it does. was it in the big tank and the same colour?

It is the same colour as in the big tank. I think it is the cellphone photo that is a bit too light.

hey max and welcome to masa!

nice looking tanks you have there!

what filtration do you have?there in that back compartment......

oh and an excellent skimmer to get is the via aqua hob skimmer, can be bought with a uv light intergrated as well.cheaper than the red sea im sure also and better IMHO and experience.the water level changing will have absolutely no effect on the water level inside the skimmer hence it skims constant as you want it to.

what salt are you using?and additives?

No extra filtration in the back compartment yet. :)
Thinking about Seachem purigen. Someone suggested it and so far I have seen mostly good reviews. Then I am thinking about a skimmer, but I have to get my auto-topup running first.

I am using tropic marin salt. It is worth it to use good salt on a nano imo.

Will research the the via-aqua skimmer. Thanks for the lead.
