I also need to know what these are..
The white tenticle thing seems to be extended in the mornings.
The other thing has like yellowish needles around it and closes when fish go near it.
And please can someone ID the red coral.

Your tank is only been running a week now right? And you already have 3 fish in there?

But you started this thread a week ago and it looked like you updated as you go?
Did you test the water before adding those fish? Did the cycle run completely through?

Yep I tested the water.
I'm only able to test salinity at the moment and its at 1.025

Then you where not supposed to add fish as you did not test for ammonia and nitrites which is toxic to fish and can burn their gills. I mean how do you know what the levels where?
You need to test for these and their reedings must be 0 before adding any livestock. Only then you'll know that the cycle is finnished and the water is safe to introduce inmates.

1. Well, I would say you need to get the water tested ASAP and if there is ammonia or nitrites present then you need to move the fish to a friends/fellow reefer's tank temporarily or do regular waterchanges daily to dilute the toxins - this might cost a bit.
2. Read the link in my signature on starting a marine tank - it explains the cycle ;)
3. Buy yourself some decent test kits.

Thanks
•Is there a specific brand of test kit I should look for?
•How much are these test kits and how accurate are they?
•Do I regularly test for salinity, ammonia & nitrites or is there anything else that is important to monitor for the quality of the water?

Thanks

I like Elos, but there are others that's also good.

From R150 - R310 depends

If you top up evapourated water regularly and the right amount, then check the salinity once a week. I have a auto top up and still check mine weekly. I checked all my parameters at least once a month, sometimes weekly egg kH.

Guys, no need to worry. The system is stable. The tank was filled with NSW (with enough bacteria) and well cured LR. I have been assisting Liwellyn with this system from the start ;)

Why didn't you just say so :p
