Cool Llewellyn's 4ft Build
Please mind the pics as they are all taken by cell phone.

Okay, so here's my story...
Back in the day when I was in grade 10 I was given one of these...

Which led to this...

And then a 3ft...

And finally my marine 4ft.
This is the sump
1000(L) x 400(D) x 500(H)

Testing for leaks. All good to go

First plumbing attempt.

Spraying on a Royal Blue background.

My return pipe

Got bored of the plumbing so I decided to add an ATS after reading alot on MASA

Filled the tank up on sunday.Still suffering with a bit of muscle pain from carrying buckets of water from the shore to the bakkie. Good workout though!
Was a bit short of water so I topped it up with RO.
Salinity reading is 1.023

Here's some FTS

Havn't received my lights yet so I just had to place the scrubber light on top of the tank to see how it looks

Looking good. Do you have an anti siphon hole on that return pipe. It looks likl you should have enough space in the sump for the backflow but if the power comes one with the sump that full then the skimmer will skim VERY wet and the cup will overflow each time.

Yes I do have an anti siphon hole. Only realised I needed one after I was testing the return pump. Sluuuurrrrrrp

When I view this thread without logging in the pics are showing, but after I log in they are showing as links.
Is there something I can change in my user control panel?
