We have four types of salt to offer you.
1. Aquamedic Reef salt. R (20 kg box for 550l water mixed at 1.025)
An excellent German salt made from very pure ingredients, that seems to always be consistent across batches.
This weekend’s price R572.
2. Deltec H2Ocean salt. (23kg makes 550l at 1.025)
A very highly rated (see reef central’s comparisons) naturally harvested , solar evaporated reefsalt.
This weekend’s price R719.
3. Seachem Reefsalt 20 kg bucket. (makes 500l at 1.025SG)
This is our best-selling salt. Seachem has set very high standards in terms of requirements from their salt producers and reject what is not acceptable.
This weekend’s price. R490 (crazy price).
4. Seachem Salinity 29kg bucket (makes 926l at 1.025SG)
This is our favorite absolute premier grade salt. When seachem saw how batch- variable the salt manufactures could be they decided to produce a salt completely inhouse using pharmaceutical grade ultra-dry material.
Once a batch is produced they then send a sample off to an independent lab who gives them a batch analysis with a proof of batch quality sticker on each bucket (guaranteed actual parameters when mixed). NO ONE ELSE IN THE WORLD DOES THIS. It is why we have such faith in SALINITY.
