Kak man, just posted it now....lol

Just kidding Tobes, you know my thread if you can remember that pic

cmon sean a pic of the new electricity stuff?

ok so next qeustion how much timers would you guys want or do u need?

will reveal all later this week i think what i am planning will make every reefers life more easy to a certain extent

will be made to custom order, in other words you want 50 switches with 20 timersw thats what you will get. only thing is it is neater than a db board, and looks nicer.

german engineering at its best

will you be able to still plug things in ? went the hard wire route once and it makes maintenance the opposite of easy ! :p You know just plug out a pump or whatever and take it to the sink to clean.

yes it will have those pc plugs with controll switches to put on the outside of the cabinet that looks something like these with a nametag of each thing next to the switch,

these trip when too much power is drawn or if there is an electricity surge so it protects you equipment. (now imagine these with timers and everything)

From those switces they will go too these female plugs and the equipment will get these male adapters on them so its easy removal for servicing and cleaning.

No, you should not cut the plug on any electrical equipment else bye-bye warranty.

Better if you could go to Euro plugs, those stupid round ones. Then all pumps and normal two prong plugs are sorted. Also include a number of normal South Africa only big 3 prong points.

Okay lets see...

MH's - 2
Return Pump - 1
T5's - 2
Skimmer - 1
ATS Pump - 1
ATS lights - 1
Heater - 1
Resun Wave maker - 1
Boyu WM1 - 1
Sun Sun pump - 1
Sump light - 1
Fans - 2
ATO - 1

Thats... 16 :)

damn riaanp those south african plugs are just so damn bulky. wish we could get those plugs you got here in sa

Sorry :( You have to. Check out electrical supplies or electronical shops if they cannot provide you with Euro female plugs.
Like Communica. Maybe.
Also leave some normal SA 3 prong sockets.

It will still be a hassle to cut of plugs and to fit kettle plugs.

If you REALLY want to use other adaptors, go for PC connection types. Those cables and connections are a lot easier to find. And UPS units also use them.
Do not use any special, where the f... can I find it, plugs.

guys can you maybe post pics of your distribution boards?

here are to more pics of the stuff these guys make, recessed into a cabinet
