Hi every body

Welcome to MASA

Hello Willem
Welcome to the salty side of life.

Yip, best thing to do is to read, then read more, ask questions, read more, before you commit to take out your wallet. That is the best thing you can do. See you are in Montana. Visit Pet Stop in Moot area and Dorry Pets in Centurion. Both are sponsors on this forum, and you can learn a lot. Just, please, do not buy your tank on the first visit. Think it over, one get to know what you want before you commit. And yes, a 250 to 350L system is a lot easier to maintain than anything under 100L. Especially for beginners.

Actually, those small Buyo systems, TL450, should be sold as advanced systems... :whistling:

But, if you are up to it, you can learn the tricks of this hobby on a small system. I started on a 90L. Very steep learning curve. Water changes weekly is a must. Testing water parameters weekly just before water change is a must (then you know the worst case scenario).

Enjoy.
