HOW BIG :O

Ok that puts it in perspective a bit. Probably a representative price then but 95% of guys here dont have the tank for such a big fish. A hand-sized naso generally sells in the region of R400 - R500 on the forum

Wow .... I dont suppose really add up the cost of livestock when we buy over a period of time .... Above is over 50K of fish but from the pics one can see they in very good condition and from your threafs we all know how you take care of them .... Excellent pricing for the quality and the physical size and health of these babies. ... Al the best with the sale and hope the get good homes close by ... Again .... If only you not almost 2000km's away ....

hey guys thanks for all the kind words, i am sad to let them go but know from many moves it would be best as i do not want to loose any in the process.

@Brandon WJ shipping to Jozi is not an issue, you just give those fish to your local shop (Where you got the cross hatches from ;)) and he will ship them. Do it all the time.

Unfortunately i have a slightly higher offer.
R16K is a very fair price for this fish considering the scarcity and size of them.

Some stunning fish you're parting with there Brandon. Would battle to justify spending 16k on 2 fish:eek:

Good luck with the sale. Hope you're not packing up....?
thank you, i know the feeling but when you see them the money is all worth it.

Yes a fish that would be the normal price but this baby is a beautiful big specimen

Pricing bud, thats why. I know they rare, well fed, etc etc

R1500 for Naso is a stretch if im honest

I'm afraid rakabos is right, some of those fish are not that uncommon and you wanting more than double the LFS rate...I'm afraid pricing is going to have to come down in order for them to sell.

Thanks for your comment.

To put it into perspective a 10-12cm queen would cost around R1,500. I'd rather take a smaller fish and let it grow out than pay another grand for 3-5cm bigger fish.

I agree with the comments. You are going to have to drop your prices to a more affordable level.

Why not list all the fish again with each fish size. Sizing the Blond Naso against the Flame angel in the background does not reflect its size as mentioned earlier. Maybe its just the angel of the pic. And some pics are not really nice. A little bit blurry for the price :whistling:
