Not sure, but id take a piece! lemme know 
like most softies i think you can just cut an "branch" off. Interestingly sometimes when they get big they start to just drop off little babies all around them! The hard part is mounting them...
Use a very sharp pair of scissors or a scalpel blade and cut off the piece you want. You can dip the frag in some tank water dosed with lugols solution or iodine to prevent infection
