A close up of one of my favourite species. The complex of Acropora austera, A. horrida, and A. florida grow into large interwoven tangled messes.Really pretty to see.

It's been a while since I posted about my tank. Like Nemo, Scubaninja and a few other mates, we've had our nerves hanging on by a thread over the past couple of weeks. Between us all there were a good few shakey voice notes going around for which I'm thankful. Anyway, I finally got round to taking a few pics of the corals this evening.

Every time I take a FTS of both systems I promise myself I'll finish the cladding on the mangrove system. It relly does look kak, but I will get to it when I have the time.

I have wanted to take a photo of the top-down, and I've been waiting for my GHA to completely go away as there has been a few stubborn pieces hanging around. Anyway, the tank has really turned the corner in the past month and looks like it has finally started to settle nicely.

Just to give one an idea of the flow over the top from the back pane towards the font over the top acro crown. I have a jebao OW10 on about setting 5/8 on W2 mode. It works nicely.

Without flow...

I am really wanting to start focussing on my nano now. @scubaninja has been very kind to me over the past few weeks with various frags he's asked me to look after which are for now keeping my mangrove system looking not so bare. He also allowed me to look after his rainbow nennie which I am hoping will split so I can keep one as I think the mangrove system will look amazing with some BTA's hanging onto the rockwork!!! Excited for that system to mature and develop now :)

Lekke!

Stunning as always

Thanks, everyone! It's starting to come together now.

Here are a few more individual coral shots. My Acros went brown with the move, and various other corals also lost colour. The colours are starting to come back but with the current progress, it'll take another few months to see some corals fully recover. The corals least affected were my bright green Caulastrea and my Red Blastomussa that didn't skip a beat.

I have not had a chance to get any decent photos of my favorite fish in my system. I have two bluestripe pipe fish. They're in my mangrove system and I was worried that they weren't going to last long, but my tank seems to be full enough of pods for them and they're eating frozen food too. The one has become visably fatter, the other looking also fattening a little. Both have really colored up since I got them about 10 weeks ago. They are super cryptic so they are almost impossible to photograph. They love the rock structure and only come out at night. Really love these guys!
