If you have snails its their slime that makes the grains stick together. Thats whats happening in mine. Lovely tank bud!

See you're struggling with nitrates. Try moving one of your powerheads to point at the surface for a week and see if that helps. Awesome tank.What can also help is stirring the sand bed a bit to get rid of possible nitrate traps. Just a guess.

Vacuumed my whole sandbed three weeks ago. Running titanium and normal biocubes now. Moved my wp25 up to make a wave on the surface. But how will it make difference to the nitrates??
