When I'm feeling down and depressed about this hobby and I need inspiration, I just come to this thread and look at these amazing photos. I love this tank. Well done Rob.

It looks like a forest with so many sps. You are the true master of reef keepers.

He's great. Not much polyp extension during the day corals wait till night for that.

He goes from colony to colony, taking a few poyps from each until they close properly, then onto the next. If you have enough SPS its ok.

He came in a little skinny maybe 2-3 months back but is now fat as a pig.

:eek::eek: YOU HAVE ALL MY ANTHIAS!!!

I wanted some of those! :tt2:

But they do look awesome in your tank! And your tank is insanely impressive! This will be the tank of the year soon!

There are Squamipinus, Carberiai, Keshawia (Mauritian), Sunburst, Square anthias, Evansi and Tuka. (seven species of anthias.) In a big tank they just all muck in together and get very easy to keep and introduce.

Oh wow! Just noticed the harlequin. Amazing fish. I'm absolutely in love with it. Any plans on trying to breed it?

I'm not sure I want to become a total slave to anything right now.:p If I had a lot of time on my hands maybe, those guys need more attention than Charlie Sheen.:)

hmmm Give us some of the secrets how do you maintain those corals. CAx reactor, 2 part? what and how do you supplement?

My Calcuim Mag and alkalinity control has been rather poor over the last six months or so with various problems with the reactor. But just last week I got new probes for the Carx and am hoping for a bit more consistency.

Also started dosing Nitrates to try to get my bacterial system working better as I always battle with rising PO4. If the pellets don't work, I will try Prodibio.:)

Also suppliment Iodine.
