Does anyone have any experience with this skimmer?Thinking of getting one for my new tank-dont have a sump or place for a hang on so internal looks like the best bet.Appreciate any help thanks.

I have a 280 liter tank
Unless you are planning on a very low bioload, this skimmer will be insufficient. They are also rather maintenance intensive, one of the reasons hey have taken a backseat to water pump driven skimmers.
Having said that, I still believe that airstone driven skimmers have huge potential if someone can overcome the maintenance of replacing the wooden blocks. Probably still the most effecient skimming effeciency per watt. I have one lying around that I used on my first tank in the early nineties....

i found them very ineffiecient for my liking, im of the opinion that pump driven skimmers should be a standard
these smaller skimmers will never do what they claim and you would be better off performing more frequent waterchanges insead of using this type of skimmer..

I am only going to have two clowns,neon goby and dwarf angel as well as a few hermits and brittlestar in the tank as well as about 28kg of liverock.Can I then do away with a skimmer if I do 10 to 15 percent water changes per week?
do yourself a favour and spend a couple grand on a skimmer... you won't sorry
