Please help I just did a 20l water change and my bubble tip has instantly shrivelled up ,is it doomed or is there hope

Was the water the same sg,ph,temp as the water in your tank. Hows the rest of your livestock.

Everything else is hundreds ph and sg were and are the same think the water I added was a bit cooler I never checked

When did you do the water change? Maybe just leave it for a while to adjust

@ Dian Was today maintenance, cleaning my skimmer and it shriveled when I added the new water ,that's the plan I'll see how it looks in the morning

My BTA does that every time I do a water change. It usually doesn't last more than a few hours to about a day or so. Unless you have some abnormal parameters or if something is bothering it, then I'm sure it'll be fine...
