How does this timer work?

Hi fellow reefers, I got this timer (second hand) and needs to know how you set it. What switch is for what time intervals, etc - using it on my kalkstirrer
Does someone know? :p

If you get tired of sukkeling with it you can send it my way;). The way I understand it is you can set on and off times with different duration's. The son in law uses them on ice machines.
 
Not 100% sure but think Herkie has got it right, normally ther is a 3rd adjustment, the time period. eg: lets say the time period was set for 5 min, then you could select the on period for 0-100% of 5 minutes, same for the off time, 0-100% of the 5 min. Are ther no jumper switches onthe rear side for setting the time period?
 
The way it works now is it comes on few times a day for a few seconds only. I'll check if there's other adjustment thingies.

It probably works similar to this one:

On the back there is a DIP switch that sets a time period, between 0.3 seconds and 60 hours on this model. Then as lIghty mentions, on the front you set how long it should stay on for as a percentage of that time set on the back, and the other knob how long it should stay off for as a percentage of the time set on the back.
