I think a wavebox to handle this size tank should be in the region of hundreds of thousands of rands ..... :p Is the 12 meters the length or the width;)

Great size cube there bud..... Even though it's not supersize..... I'm sure Uncle Tunze got something serious for this baby - Tank is 700 deep but the ater level sits at ???? before it overflows?

Only leaves about 3cm or 4cm for the "wave" - Also make sure the tanks braced well as there's more than usual stress on the joins when you use a wavebox.... Lets wait Mr Geoerge Tunze's advice....

Hello martinkeyser

Where is your overflow? is it on the side or in the centre?
A centre overflow is the best way to have a TUNZE wave box.
How thick is your glass and what kind of bracing do you have, a picture would be great as the new TUNZE wave box has more powerfull pumps and is good for 1500 litre tank.
Once I have the relevant information i will be able to give you spot on advise

George

tx george. The overflow is in the centre of the back panel. Adriaan from idol marines built this beauty with a wavebox in mind so i'm sure it will hold. the sides are 12mm glass with what looks like two 10mm strips of glass glued together for bracing at the top. The bracing runs all the way arond. Hope this helps?
