Tropical fish in Port Elizabeth

Hi All

We are preparing to reopen the Aquarium section at Bayworld in December and looking for photos of species of Tropical Vagrants that we are likely to collect and display from the Transkei. If you have good photos of commonly caught juvenile tropicals that you would be happy for us to use please let me know.
Surgeons, Wrasse, Damsels, Angels, Butterflies, Goldies, Cardinals, Sharpnose puffers/tobies (canthigasters), etc. If we decide to use your photo we would obviously acknowledge the photo as yours.

When will there be another social collecting day? Im new in thr marine aquari. si stay in uitenhage, so if theres anyone in uitenhage or despatch that collect fish, please contact mecene and would like to go with experienced people to collect and learn about aquarium fish in our local water

Hi there aapstert180, unfortunately the collecting season is preety much over down here in PE a.t.m. I am still diving and seeing the odd moorish idol and marleyi, but other than that there is not a lot around and won't be until the end of the year when the new juveniles come down in the current from Mozambique. Give me a shout if you're still keen for a swim - otherwise look me up closer to December.

that would be great thx. I would also like to know of places to look for specimens. Even if its just walking around on the rocks with my son. If you're not to busy we can chat and maybe get together for a fun walk or swim. My contact details are, xxxxxxxxxxxx
