Tank was down for about 4 hours, and temperature dropped to 20 degrees, my 3 bigger SPS colonies have bleached but I still have polyp extension. Hopefully they recover.

My return pump literally exploded under water... have never seen that before.

New pump is 1 million times quiter but it was the power cable on the old one that had cracked while dried out in storage and short circuited in the tank.

Have spotted a few slug like things moving along the LR, they seem to be leaving my SPS along. They almost look like they have a small shell on thier backs.

Seems better. That pump is quieter and I saw my emerald crab out last night. Hopefully a good sign that issues are sorted.

Cool, I'll make a plan to pop past tomorrow let me know what time you get to the shop..... and then Thursday for the other 2 guys from Kenya.
 
Keeping a fish tank is never without it's trouble though. My ATU got stuck on (have no idea how) about 2 months ago. pumped about 40L fresh water into my 140L system. Lost all my fish, inverts. The only things to survive were some snails.

Since then Tank doing well. SPS are growing nicely and looking good. SPS survived albeit with some damage, which seems to be growing back now.
