The growth in these guys is insane.

BTW had some stray current in my tank, which seemed to be killing my inverts. Sorted it out this weekend and my Nenny crab is just behaving much better

How did you sort out the stray current?

In my experience flow pumps like giving off stray voltage I recently had 1 I chucked as it was giving out over 100 V let's just say I didn' have to hook up the multimeter to know it was there.

Some hobbyists run a volt meter permanently or at least test before putting hands in tank or always wear shoes.

It can be a daughting task fnding the calpret but you can switch everything off and then back on 1 by 1 while monitoring the multimeter to see who the calpret is.

Bought a titanium grounding probe and connected it to the earth on my plug. Doesn’t trip the circuit breaker unless there’s a short. But clears the current out the tank. Have never needed one before, but the return pump (which is the cause) had been dried out for the past 2 years.

Used my fingers and toes.... was a pretty solid current (not just a slight buzz).

You can press the test button on your db earth leakage so that it trips and then go to your tank plug to make sure it has tripped. That way you know that it is protected by the earth leakage as it is supposed to be. A earth probe sounds like a plan!

Also added this on the weekend, plan is to have an area for copepods, spotted two micro brittle stars. 12C8FA1E-8819-4906-A475-DC4B40DC0707.jpeg 7224F188-D1CA-4FBC-B0CC-92EFE34BF1F9.jpeg

That pipe is the carbons Rx output shooting water straight into the clump.

Good idea on the sponge. Does it work? I also have the zetlight for a refugium light. How strong do you run it on?
