You are in luck with the pulsing xenia, I have a small forest. I am planning to visit my parents in the June holidays so I can gladly bring up a frag (or 10) for you. You can pvt me your number and I will gladly show you what zoanthids I have that might also interest you.
 
Really nice setup there.... I'm getting more depressed every day, Seeing all this new Setups popping up in the vaal. Need to get my act together and finish my Tank.
 
Congrats on the tank looking very neat. There's a place in Vereeniging Plaza Board they might be able to assist with the wood. I can also help you out with some pulsing xenias. Mine is taking over my tank

Strangely enough, I tried Builders, CTM, Timbercity etc and didn't think to try Plaza Board.
Thanks for the offer on the xenias, my daughter will take whatever she gets...

No need to get depressed. We need reefing experience, so if you need a hand, we will gladly help. There's always something my daughter and I can learn...

I'll be picking up the live rock this weekend. Then onwards with the scaping and after that will start looking for frags.

Current project is to get the refugium going. I got some matching wood yesterday, so now the planning starts. Idea is to have a +-40 liter fuge on the side with cupboard space for the electronics and dosing containers below.

We kept the original rock in the tank as the original rock has cycled and already has a fair amount of pods. We will remove this rock later.

I will do the testing again this weekend. Tank should be ready, we currently have an issue with no nutrients. Chaeto is dying slowly, so we have to increase livestock soon.

Any frags welcome, we really appreciate your assistance. Wouldn't have got this far without your help
 
Tank Update:

My daughter added a Diamond Watchman goby, another hermit crab and a cleaner shrimp. So far all tank inhabitants are doing well. Some are doing "a little too well", the goby has already taken apart her scape, there's holes everywhere
We knew he was coming sooner or later, so all the rock work is seriously solid.

We are ready for frags, so all our local MASA buddies, please let us know what frags you can spare (especially if you have a pulsing Xenia frag)
