Do you access the tank from the back ?

Sorry missed this one...

I access it from the front, the back of the tank is against an outside wall which I have drilled through so I can keep some of the equipment outside like the chiller, calcium reactor, kalkstirrer and RO drum, as there just isn't enough space under the tank.

That is one of the most important things to me in a setup - access to the tank. If its a hassle for me to work on the tank i wont :( so that's why I went with lighting units on suspension cables which can be raised if necessary and I designed it so that the entire top of the cabinet pulls off leaving the tank open and easily accessible. The top is basically just a frame with only the front and right hand side panels (as the tank sits in the left corner of the room)

Here is a pic of the back of the 'hood' off the tank so you can get an idea...

Hey man this is NICE, very very nice.

Wow it gets even better !!!

Cool, I thought that top looked solid, thanks for explaining that.
It's the one design flaw of my tank and something that I want to change in the future.

Other than Ca and Alk replenishment through the reactor are you dosing any other additives or supplements ?

Bloody nice. Looks like something from National Geographic Ocean Adventures...lol.

Hey I don't see what you guys like about a tank full of sticks and stones. Sorry last chirp, couldn't resist.

I will be wanting a few stick for my tank soon. I hope you have a few frags ready soon. Cos you're one of the guys I would trust for excellent frags.

An excellent choice for featured thread. Congratulations.
