Should you be handling fish with your hands?

Especially for the QT and bucket method. I prefer to use a small little tank 200*100mm by 200 high.
Removed the polystyrene. Put the little tank on its side, and chase slowly the fish into it. Then I just lift it out. So I do not remove the fish from the water during the quarantine period.
 
I think where practical, use a bag, even if you empty the water,

remember some fish like large angels cannot be netted, or maroon clowns, they have gill spikes and will get damaged in a net.

When I transfer from qt, I herd the fish into pipes, block the ends of the pipes, put them in a bag/bucket of qt water, acclimitise, then pour out the water and put them in with the packet/bucket.
