it will take about 2 months for the egg to hatch depending on when it was bought. mine took roughly 2 months to hatch. Ive had the pup since November last year. it eats hake, kingclip, Lance fish, squid ect. and yes it will eat your inverts and smaller fish. they also grow very fast as well.
The shark will grow inside the egg and will get big. u will notice movement in the egg will be very little almost nothing when they ready to hatch.

How long after the only movement he does is breathing? Got all his bands etc. There is literally no space in the egg.

Is it best to let in hatch on its own of cut it out?

Hey guys some exciting news Toothless came out his egg for a visit at 2 this morning.... Tried to feed him but was not interested. Will try again in the morning. He is absolutely amazing

Gave him squid this morning. He took it shook it around for about 20 seconds and then let it go

hey bud congrats :) when the sharks are that little they have a hard time with anything hard or tricky , even if we know the piece are small , give him some frozen brine shrimp or anything thats about that size . i just noticed that squid isnt as easy for the lil sharks to tear apart and swallow , sometimes itl just hold it for long and just spit it out . feed the squid in between to see how he handles . they dig prawns as well awsome having one that size ;)
