Just wanna get my head around few things:

What is the rock made from? Ceramic, old calcium carbonate, resin, cement, etc?

The colour of the rock, nice and purple, is it artificially coloured or is ut actual corralline growung on it?

Cured meaning artificial rock, kept for how ever long in saltwater systems to seed with beneficial bacteria, etc?

Some stunning pieces there I must add, let me know where u are nowadays and I'll pop around to say hi and come have a closer look for my new project.

Most of the answers are in the thread....long thread I know so ill briefly answer.

Real Reef is made from Calcium Carbonate. Same building blocks of Live rock...
Each piece is unique as its moulded by hand and then artificially coloured with pinks and purples...
The rock is then put in holding bays for a min period of 6 months where it grows over with Coralline algae, some macro algae and tons of beneficial bacteria.
These holding bays are pest free and only filled with artificial sea water and never mixed with other liverock

In summary you get a live rock substitute that is cured,colorful ,pest free and porous...win win for us and the reefs

Looking for shelf rock. Do you have anything in the region of 30x30cm? Approximate mass?
 
BParker..a slab that size would be around 1.5kg to 2kg....
Ridwaan 10kg to JHB would be R70 courier fees
 
It does look tasty....

Gonna have to be more exact than calcium carbonate though....

Pest free rock is a massive plus
