Red algae, brown algae and hair algae

Easiest answer is your tank is only 2 months old. Don't go throwing money at trying to destroy the algae, it's still going through a cycle I wouldnt stress to much. It's probably going to hang around for a month or 2 no matter what u do or add.

As I understand the live rock and sand come from an established tank but was moved to a newer tank setup. Will definitely be going through a mini cycle but that is why I suggested lighting and flow need to be looked at first to minimize the growth nuisance algae.

a refugium would not hurt! When you do set up your fuge keep your lights on 24/7. You will notice that your algae will grow faster in refugium than DT, over some time your DT will not be able to compete with refugium. With some patience you will have an algae free DT. This is my experience. algae eating fish and inverts make a huge difference aswell ;)

Pics as requested... The red algae also looks a bit hairy and not slimy

nice size tank man, i had a problem with cyano some time back despite having perfect nutrient levels, i ran a storm cycle for 3 days ie switched off my lights and increased flow slightly, figured its a natural part of the reef, when i turned on lights again no more cyano and no more hair algae in display, my sps and my softies all did well and had good polyp extension after.
i do have an algae scrubber and kept that running which also probably assisted the process but... i believe in a storm cycle, no chemicals and no manual removal involved

im no reef pro, but it worked for me

Ok I have turned off my lights this morning and will only turn them back on on Saturday. Did you still feed the tank? When the tank is dark all the fish are in hiding.

Also, not sure if it's hair algae anmore as I took a closer look.
Can someone tell me what this is

yep i still fed my fish, they would be more in hiding but they recognize the side of the tank i stand to feed and came out when i gave the food there

your sand bed still looks very clean though, what algae eating fish or clean up crew do you have?

I have a goby which keeps my sand so clean...
Clean up crew is a bit low. 4 snails, 2 hermit crabs and 2 cleaner shrimps

You seem to have a few different algaes. The red is a fast growing pest that is referred to by some as pink fluff of death since it can spread very quickly. I have it in some spots but the tangs seem to keep it trimmed very thin. Then there is normal green hair algae and the last pic does look like bryopsis.

Ok why do I have to add more and more MG?
In the beginning I added 20 spoons of MG and it wacked the MG up 150ppm. Now adding 60 spoons only boosts it by 30ppm.
Below you can see how I have tried adding the supplements to get my mg up
