Reaper's Nano tank

Thats cheap...

I see Andre sell them for R495 on special but has no stock... Think ill invest in two of them and not the rw8 as I like having 2 pumps to 1

@Reaper sorry for the derail dude.

Different types of flow, just remember that. The tunze's are directional and constant. The RW series has all the bells and tassels. I am using 2 RW-8 and a tunze 6015 pointing up for surface aggitation as I am not running a sump ATM.

But then again at R495, you could buy 3 tunzes and get 2 timers. Have 1 on constantly and then have 2 that turn on and off for turbulence.

Haha, yes we taking over here... thats my plan with the Nanostreams, but I thing an rw8 in a boyu550 might be to powerful even on lowest setting or am I wrong?

I would ask to lend a friends RW8 to try in a boyu before buying one...I mean the waves might just spill over the tank. You wouldn't want waves in a non braced full tank.

Thats why im planning on settling for the Nanostreams as I have a 500 cube non braced 10mm glass and saw a video on youtube of a 450mm cube with a rw8 and caused a sand storm on lowest setting.

@Jason and @Brandon6 I really don't mind the hijack, it's all good info you guys are sharing. I'll definitely be looking into the flow of 2 Tunze 6015's. I dont want to make too big waves seeing as I already modified my overflow to allow for a higher water level. I don't like seeing the water level in a tank. So if I chuck in the rw8's it might be too powerful and cause overflows...

With @Brendan6 on that, always love going there and they always have cool fish and corals, they are always fully stocked on corals. Awesome display tanks, I must make sure next time I go there to leave my wallet at home.

Haha, been there this morning just to chat with the owner and walked out with few items... When you close to me in Brackenfell let me know, you can pop around anytime... Not a lot of reefers this side of town, most are S.Suburbs...

Water is almost nice and clear now. Can't wait to start adding live stock, but will definitely not be jumping the gun... met a fellow reefer at the lfs this morning. Bloody idiot's tank is only 2 weeks old and its already stocked with fish. Now he's blaming the damsels for killing other fish. Told him it's not the fish it's himself killing them with stupidity. Asked him if he's on this forum. His reply... he doesn't have time for people telling him what to do! Damn idiot

Should have asked him to say what benefit is in it for me to give him some advise on the forum? I will most likely never meet him, I will get no financial gain from it? So why would I even bother to try and help him?

OK, maybe only gain some imaginary internet reputation points.
