Price of Glass

alot of stuff nowadys is cheaper at the coast, just coz the stuff is closer to the ports so the price is not pushed up by trasporting costs to up here in JHB.
 
shit I obviously worked it out wrong.... with bracing it is 5.33 so I guess R500m2 is probably about right (transport and profit for local LFS R1000). I just wonder how the hell the LFS in DNB got to R9000 (for 10mm not 12mm) - R1688.55/m guess his prifit was about 6k!!!
 
LFS in R/Bay but all he did is order the tank from a guy in DBN who dropped it off at my house. . . .
 
Sims, nonetheless, it is a very good price for a completed 5 footer!
 
starfire glass is what is also refered to as diamante glass. or crystal galss as it is sometimes known. its has a low iron content. its virtually crystal clear. if u take a piece of normal 10mm glass, its looks kinda green right. well starfire is clear. no green nothing. crystal clear. ill try find u pic to give a an idea of what the comparison is like. only prob with starfire, is coz of the low iron content scratches very easily
